LEGAL Update

IMPORTANT - It is a legal requirement for all websites belonging to a Limited Company to include the following information:

  • Full name of the company the website belongs to.
  • Company registration number.
  • Place of registration.
  • Registered office address & Trading address.
  • VAT registration number - if applicable.
  • Contact email address.
  • Details of any trade/professional association memberships (inc Registration Number)

NOTE: This information should also be on all emails sent in the name of the company.

Historically, corporate websites have not had to include this information, so it is crucial that ALL clients that are Limited Companies check the details on their site and contact us if you require any assistance, even if we didn't design and dont host your website.

This information needs only to be in a freely accessible location on the site and not on all pages.
